Member for Calare John Cobb cut the ribbon, followed by meet and greets from the fast food chain’s four mascots, a magic show, face painting, balloons and a demonstration by the Orange PCYC’s boxers.
Franchise owner Todd Bryant said the day was a successful one.
“It was magic, the kids loved it,” he said.
“The response has been outstanding, especially from families in Molong.”
Mr Bryant said the two weeks leading up to the opening had been surprisingly smooth.
Parents brought their children to enjoy the activities, while adults also paid the store a visit for a stickybeak.
Kristal Elnamli said she was driving past when her son saw the balloons flying outside.
“We have to drive past to visit my parents and go to the supermarket, so we’ve got to stop,” she said with a laugh.
“But it’s good to have it here.”
For Maria Beshey, an indoor playground would mean a warmer experience when winter returned, while fellow parent Mark Robey said having a store in north Orange meant he no longer had to go to the other side of town.
