Weatherzone meteorologist Ben McBurney said Orange had a “pretty damp” weekend, with about 30 millimetres of rain falling, and there was a slight chance of a brief shower today.
“Another system is expected to come in (tomorrow) bringing around 10 to 20 millimetres of ran, but that’s expected to clear by Wednesday,” he said.
The temperature is expected to reach 25 degrees today, however, due to heavy cloud, it is not expected to exceed 24 degrees tomorrow.
Orange should warm up with a top of 25 degrees on Wednesday.
“On Thursday and Friday the sunny weather should return, ready for the weekend,” Mr McBurney said.
With 30 millimetres already falling this month, it has been wetter than January 2014, which recorded a total of 23 millimetres.
However, the average temperature so far this month is almost two degrees above the long-term average of 27 degrees.
