ORANGE teams thrived in the wintry conditions to take out three of the six divisions at the Orange Netball Association rep carnival on Sunday.
The carnival brought together teams from across the Central West, as well as Sydney, Canberra, Goulburn and Tumut.
The young sides produced some excellent netball despite the cold conditions.
The Teigan Colley-coached Orange Development Squad finished on top in the 11 years division.
This was their first time playing together and they showed some great skills to finish on top, with Cowra coming in second.
The Orange 12 years side made the step up from the development age division to take out the 12 years division in fine form.
The State Age team handled the step up in division well to finish first, ahead of second-placed Dubbo.
Orange was also successful in the 15 years division.
The State Age side didn’t drop a game as they went on to win their division, with Dubbo second.
Orange was also second in the 13 years division behind Sutherland, and runner-up in the 14 years behind Canberra.
Both Orange sides played well but were edged out for the title.
Dubbo took out the 17 years and Opens division ahead of Mudgee.
The Orange Netball Association season will resume this Saturday for all senior and junior divisions.
