A 28-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a 63-year-old man, who was stabbed a number of times during an altercation at a home in Queensland.

Police were called to a unit block in Redbank, Ipswich, about 10.25pm on Saturday.
There they found the 63-year-old with several significant stab wounds to his face and head. He was treated at the scene, but later died as he was being transported to hospital, Detective Inspector David Briese told reporters on Sunday.
The situation inside the unit was confronting for emergency service workers responding to calls for help, Mr Briese said.
"It was a very confronting scene, obviously with significant wounds to the deceased and a lot of blood," he said.
Police allege they found ice which belonged to the younger man and discovered a large knife used in the murder at the unit.
A 30-year-old woman and her four-year-old son were also inside the apartment when the incident occurred, and police allege the 28-year-old threatened to kill the woman.
The 28-year-old and 63-year-old were known to one another, although police are still working to determine what their relationship was.
The 28-year-old Boronia Heights man was charged with one count each of murder, threatening violence and drug possession on Sunday.
He will appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on Monday.
